Surviving the Digital Age as a Parent
Do you ever think your child knows more than you about the technology world? Here is a great opportunity for you to close the gap, Elsberry Schools will be presenting “Surviving the Digital Age as a Parent" on Thursday April 19, from 6pm-730pm.
Directors of Explorers Club and E2 would like for you to join them for an evening of information regarding digital safety and your child. Families can choose three sessions from the five available options. Topics will apply to students in a variety of age ranges, from grades PreK-12. Dinner and childcare will be included at the event.
Parents can enter through the high school doors beginning at 6:00 pm, with the first session starting at 6:15 pm. Childcare will be available for those families needing it. The sessions will run for twenty minutes each. The five sessions to choose from will be: screen time - finding the balance, popular apps and social media, age appropriate acces - is my child old enough for a device, online safety and legal implications, and technology rules for families.
