Marching Band Competes

Elsberry Marching Band
The Elsberry High School Band entered their first competition of the season over this past weekend, The Wildcat Marching Invitational. The EHS band walked away with numerous awards after traveling to Wright City. In the open class parade competition the band received two awards for Outstanding Music and a second place award. In the Field Show Competition the EHS students took top honors receiving four awards. They were: Outstanding Drumline, Outstanding Flag Line, Outstanding Music and first place overall. The EHS Marching Band is directed by Tom Speers.
The band will travel to Washington, MO on October 1 to participate in the Washington Marching Festival.
