    Marc Hill Recognition Night

    Elsberry Schools is proud to announce a special recognition night of 1970 EHS graduate Marc Hill and his stellar career in Baseball.  At the February 22 Elsberry Indians Basketball game Marc, his family, former teammates, coaches and teachers will be presented to the crowd.  Marc was drafted right out of high school in 1970 by the St. Louis Cardinals.  He played in the majors as a catcher from 1970-1986 after spending time with the Cardinals, San Francisco Giants and the Chicago White Sox.  He then went on to coach and manage in the Major and Minor leagues for several organizations for another 17 years.  . . . read more

    Spirit Week

                Spirit week was held during the week of basketball homecoming, January 30 through February 3, to pump up school spirit among the student body.   By Friday the basketball players and fans were excited for the basketball game. The themed days were as follows: Monday, Nerd day; Tuesday, Celebrity day; Wednesday, Cartoon day; Thursday, Senior Citizen; and Friday, Red and White day.
