    DAR Good Citizen

    March 30, 2012

Senior, Jennifer Grumich, has been selected as the DAR Good Citizen at Elsberry High School.  The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution recognizes one student at each of the Lincoln County Schools each year.  At Elsberry High School teachers nominated three seniors and then the top three were voted on by senior class.  Grumich can now apply for one DAR Good Citizen scholarship that is available to all seniors who were selected.  One state winner will be awarded the $250 scholarship.  She received a DAR Good Citizen pin, certificate, and an invitation for her and her family to attend a luncheon.  DAR defines a Good Citizen as one having qualities of Dependability, Service, Leadership, and Patriotism.  Grumich is the daughter of Lisa and Jeff Grumich.
