We had so much fun on Halloween. Our 2-4 staff dressed as characters from Inside Out 2, we had a parade, and we voted in our school wide mock election! Hope you enjoy some of the photos of all the fun.

Mrs. Kaimann's kindergarten students are busy exploring the five senses! Kindergarten wrapped up their 5 senses unit by using their senses to explore popcorn. They got to hear, smell, see, feel and the best part was tasting the popcorn. They made a chart of describing words for each of the five senses about the popcorn.






FCCLA is organizing a pink out day on Friday, October 25 to bring awareness to breast cancer. The EHS FCCLA, Family Career and Community Leaders of America, is hoping the day will encourage those fighting breast cancer as well as supporting breast cancer survivors. According to the American Cancer Society 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Feel free to join us in wearing pink on Friday!

Please help support our PTO. Our Sales goal for the Charleston Wrap Fundraiser is $3,500. We are currently halfway to our goals. They sell amazing wrapping paper, sweet treats and much more.
All orders are paid for online by the customer and shipped directly to the customer. All students participating should have their own link to shop from. Sales end October 28th!
BONUS!!! The top 3 classes will be rewarded with a reward of choice and a snack from the PTO! Individuals also receive prizes from Charleston Wrap based on the number of items they sell. As always, thank you for your support.


Parent Teacher Conferences are Tues. Oct. 22 and Wed. Oct. 23 from 4:00-7:30 p.m. If you still need to schedule a conference please call your building office or contact the classroom teacher. Remember, there will be no Explorer's Club or E2 in the afternoon during conferences. Mrs. Grossner's Art Club and ASL Club will also not meet during conferences.


Bring the family and a blanket (or two) to camp out on the gym floor for this new, fun, FREE event! 🎥

Explorer's Club and E2 celebrated Lights On last night. Lights On is a nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families and communities. Our afterschool program started with a 21st CCLC grant award in 2011.


Mrs. Hudson's first graders know a lot of facts about the human body. after learning about it during reading. Here they are creating their skeletons.




Check out Mrs. Kaimann's kindergarten class doing the nursery rhyme olympics. They had so much fun doing the Jack and Jill pail of water relay race, the Humpty Dumpty egg on a spoon race, Jumping over a candle stick like Jack and playing ring around the Rosie.











The Middle School Student Council would like to invite veterans to join students (grades K-12) in celebrating Veterans Day. The Veterans Day Breakfast will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024. The Veteran attending should be at the school between 8:15 and 8:30 and should enter at the Elementary Doors. Veterans will go to the elementary gym to check in and wait to meet with their student. After breakfast we will have an assembly in the High School Gym.
